Who is this course for?
       People with chronic long term conditions, such as:

ARTHRITIS • HEART DISEASE • ASTHMA • LUNG DISEASE
EMPHYSEMA • STROKE • PARKINSON'S • DIABETES
OSTEOPOROSIS • and all other chronic conditions

It is also for a friend, caregiver, or relative who would benefit from the problem solving skills related to managing a chronic condition. You can be young or older and still enjoy learning the benefits of these skills.

The course is for six (6) weeks and is taught once a week by two trained leaders who have chronic conditions too. Each session is for 2 1/2 hours with a 20-minute break in the middle. You will also get to take home a copy of the book "Living a Healthy Life with Chronic Conditions" and a relaxation tape.

You will learn a healthy way to live with your chronic condition by overcoming tiredness, sleeping problems, sense of being alone, breathing difficulty, or loss of energy, to name a few. The cost is low and scholarships are available.
